Annual Camp Sylvester friends & family volunteer work weekend event and fall shrimp boil dinner to enjoy a weekend in Pinecrest while helping make Camp the best place ever! Attendance, lodging and meals provided at no-cost for participants.

6:00PM -7:30PM Dinner (Halloween Costumes Encouraged)

Process & Restock Firewood (Lead: Matt) (3-4 persons).
Clean Out Wood Locker in DeBoer, Split and Stack Firewood in Locker.
Rebuild and Replace Thiemann Water Heater (Lead: Ken) (2 persons).
Inspect & Replacing Top Hand Rail on Each Cabin (Lead: Travis) (2-3 persons).
Disassemble Glamping Tent (Lead: Dave) (3 persons).
Cabin Ramp/Steps Repair at Spruce (Lead: Mark) (2-3 persons).
Replace missing handrail posts and sidewall, install top handrail.
Remove South Ramp Thiemann Cabin (Lead: Ken) (2-3 persons)
Install and Repair Building Exterior Siding (Lead: Steve) (4 persons).
Lower Girls, remove siding install plywood backing, Tyvek, and reinstall siding. Install siding on back of Birch Cabin.
Tighten Nuts/Bolts on Current Picnic Tables (Lead: Dave) (3 persons)
Grounds Cleanup (Particularly Sticks/Logs in Snowplow Areas) (Lead: Dave) (3-4 persons)
Inspect, Clean, Replace Facility Light Bulbs (Lead: Jacob Avila) (2-3 persons)
Clean, Blow-Off Cabin Roofs of Pineneedle Debris (Lead: Red) (2 persons)
Remove Abandoned Concrete Footings (Lead: Ken) (2 persons)
Rebuild Back Door Steps at Sugarpine and Spruce Cabins (Lead: Burtis) (3-4 persons)
Clean Cabin Heater Vent (Lead Jacob Avila) (2-3 persons)
Remove heater vents from each cabin, power wash clean at Chance, re-install vents.
